H&R M16A1 clone carbine 5.56 5.5# trigger

This is a custom built 5.56 NATO M16A1 carbine. While not an exact clone of any known military carbine, it is what we think one of the earliest prototype carbines would have looked like. It has the following specifications:

Lower Receiver: Harrington and Richardson M16A1 mil-spec forged aluminum lower receiver - marked “Property of US…” like the original military production 

Lower Parts Kit: mil-spec USA made lower parts kit 

Fire Control Group: mil-Spec FCG tuned and polished by Owen Precision for a smooth 5.5# pull

Stock/Brace: DPMS reproduction CAR-15 style adjustable stock 

Buffer tube assembly: 6 position mil-spec buffer tube with standard carbine buffer and spring

Pistol Grip: reproduction mil-spec A1 grip 

Upper Receiver: AR-15 A1style forged aluminum upper receiver with no shell deflector and teardrop forward assist - “C” and “H” marked like originals

Barrel: 5.56 NATO 16" Bushmaster skinny profile barrel with carbine length gas system, .625" front sight block, 1:8 twist, and 1/2-28 threads

Handguard: Luth AR reproduction mil-spec M16A1 triangle handguards with metal heat shields

Muzzle Device: M16A1 three prong flash hider  

Bolt: Toolcraft mil-spec M16 style complete bolt carrier group featuring an 8620 steel carrier and a 9310 MPI bolt.

Charging handle: mil-spec charging handle

Magazine: uses standard AR-15 mags - NO mag is included with this auction
