Anderson AM-15 Straight Pull Bolt Action Rifle

This is NOT a standard semi-automatic rifle. This gun is specially built without a gas system rendering it a straight pull bolt action rifle. The charging handle must be pulled back after each shot to eject the spent round and chamber a new round.  It uses a standard barrel with a gas port that we have closed off with a permanently attached (with red loctite) special gas block assembly. No Kali Key is necessary. This gun meets the definition of a bolt action gun and bolt action guns are not banned in any state. 

PLEASE NOTE: Removal of the permanently attached gas block and installation of a standard AR-15 gas block assembly will convert this to a semi-automatic rifle. We strongly discourage doing this if you live in a state where semi-automatic rifles are banned.

This gun starts with a forged aluminum Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 lower receiver, and a matching Anderson mil-spec forged aluminum upper receiver. It has a USA made M16 style bolt carrier group which has an 8620 steel carrier and a 9310 heat treated and MPI inspected bolt.  It has a 16" nitride Anderson M4 profile barrel with carbine length gas hole, 1:7 twist and 1/2-28 threads topped with a steel spiral flash hider. The handguard is a free float aluminum 13.5" M-Lok rail. The 6 position buttstock assembly is an M4 style. A USA made Anderson lower parts kit is used. It features all USA made parts and the mating surfaces of the trigger and hammer have been polished to give a smooth trigger pull of 5.5 pounds. The gun has been test fired for function and works flawlessly.
